Nina, I have to somewhat disagree with your review. I went there (see the review in the NY Press, I'm Michael) and admit that the Pear and Gorgonzola pizza was good, but I found the place to be an overall rudimentary experience with below average pizza. I thought the ingrediants were okay at best.
The place was fine and in time can be great, but needs to improve A LOT if it wants to be successful.
The tomato and mozzarella salad they served us and the eggplant dish were both really awful.
The salmon and caviar pizza was, not only a rip off of a Wolfgang Puck (gasp) idea, but a poorly executed one at that.
The company I was with was the most interesting and pleasant part of my night, and the pear and gorgonzola pizza was actually very good...but it ended there.
Even the dishes/serving trays were pretty lame.
