26 Beach review

Just Larry | Nov 28, 200411:34 PM

We had lunch at 26 Beach on Saturday. The burgers also include a salad or fries. I ordered the Bombay Burger with coconut curry and mango chutney and wife had burger with goat cheese and sun dried tomato. We got one with Ceasar Salad and one with Fries(well done). The Ceasar was crispy and very fresh but dressing was a bit weak. Burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, bun was fresh baked, toppings were zippy and made for a sloppy very enjoyable meal. Wife finished her burger and was also very happy. Fries were made from fresh and were as good as any fries that I have ever had. Every once in a while I need a burger fix and short of making it myself, this is an excellent choice. Server was very accomodating, friendly and efficient. 2 burgers, coffee, beer were $28.00 before tip. We live a half a block from Islands in Marina Del Rey but there is no comparison between these 2 places. Well worth a visit.
