2117 has reopened...

...and I ate there Friday night. First course: seared scallop with bacon, white beans, sage. Wonderful. Main course: the below-mentioned Lamb Wellington. Delicious Colorado lamb loin in puff pastry.

2117 should be much better known, and I'm really glad it isn't.

(One odd touch to the slightly revamped menu: something calling itself 'airline breast of chicken.' I'm sure it's better than it sounds. But then anything would better than it sounds.)
