Saw some older threads but looking for updated info, and perhaps a diagnosis?
I definitely prefer the richness of hong shao beef noodle soup over the refined quality of the clear version. But can also be open-minded if I need to be!
Heading to Taipei soon with the chance to sample only a bowl or two of beef noodle soup. (It's a stomach-filler that makes it hard to eat other things I want to try!)
Here are the places continually recommended to me:
1) Tao Yuan
2) Lin Dong Fang
4) Islamic China Beef Noodles
Any thoughts on what you'd recommend I try? (No car, public transportation-friendly...staying near Taipei 101.)
Also...anywhere that I could get a good bowl of beef noodle soup for breakfast? This would be about 9am. Also open to a good alternative to beef noodle soup for breakfast.
