2015 Holiday Cookie, Baking, and Candy List

bblonde | Nov 17, 201506:43 PM     32

I know most of us are preoccupied with planning Thanksgiving meal, but I'm trying to confirm my cookie & candy gift-giving list. And there are a lot on it this year. I have my office, my husband's office, and our friends, not to mention candy/cookies for Christmas and for the guests who may be dropping in. So I had better get started now!

Musts:
Decorated sugar cookie cutouts
Gingerbread men
three layer bars (shortbread crust, coconut date filling, lemon powdered sugar glaze)
date balls
jelly jewels (butter thumbprint rolled in pecans, filled with red currant jelly)
aunt bill's brown candy
toffee

Other contenders:
peanut brittle
old fashioned fudge
eggnog fudge
peanut butter fudge
pralines
white chocolate cranberry cookies
figgy pudding butter cookies
chocolate espresso snow caps
russian tea cakes
ginger crinkle cookies

And others I might be inspired to try from your own lists. I would really like to find a good minty/pepperminty cookie.
