Restaurants & Bars

So you have $200 to spend on a restaurant as a wedding gift. Where would you choose?

Some good friends are getting married, and my husband and I would like to treat them to an evening at a gracious restaurant with really good food. He is French, she is Japanese, and they are unimpressed with "hot" places - - they prefer lower noise levels, a more intimate atmosphere, and appreciate sophisticated but honest food. One of their favorite restaurants in their neighborhood is Raoul's.

I was thinking of places like March (I've never been but have heard good things), Picholine (the only one of these I've been to), Two Two Two on the UWS, or Frontiere (more casual, but in their neighborhood.)

Any thoughts or recommendations?
