2 Recent Different Burger Experiences

Went back to Stoned Crow, an old favorite, for a Corner Bistro clone only to find they jacked up the price to 11 bucks! Still gave it a go to discover that they must have recently added some growth hormone to the clone since it was massive! It took two slices of American cheese just to cover the burger which was still perfectly cooked despite the size. Definitely worth a return visit. Only criticism was that they forgot to supersize the bun which literally disintegrated into the burger after two bites (which may actually be a positive).
Next up I tried Ottomanelli's Grill on 94th and Lex which some respected hounds have talked up as being a contender. I wrote the list on burger contenders and this ain't no contender.
Despite the hype on the menu of being a steak burger and Ottomanelli's being a butcher (I actually shop for my meat at the one on Bleecker which, though from the same family, bears no relation to the other Ottomanelli's in Manhattan). This burger was so forgettable, I can't remember anything to say about it.
