I have a 1.75 lb. half-breast of turkey (bone-in) that I'd like to cook in the crock pot. I'd rather not turn on the conventional oven during our heat wave of 100+ temps.
I have seen numerous recipes for larger half-and full breasts but not for one this small, and I'm wondering how to adjust the time. I'd rather not experiment and have it done too early or too late (we eat early at 5pm).
I'd like to add quartered red potatoes to cook along with the turkey.
Does anyone have a tried-and-true recipe for a half-breast this size in the crock pot?
