I met a friend for dinner last night at New Green Bo. I was so excited to finally go there after reading so much about it on Chowhound. The evening started out very stressfully, I was late, then she was 30 min. late and had had a really bad day, and I took the brunt of it... One beer, calmed things down, the rest of the evening was very nice.
I've been looking forward to going for so long, that I got overwhelmed by the whole thing. I went into a complete "I don't know what to order mode", I just picked anything. Luckily what we had was very good. But - I feel there were so many items we just overlooked.
We started with the soup dumplings, I could have eaten 20 of them, they were so good, fresh and rich. We had scaillion pancakes, also good, lots of scallions, but a bit thicker then I am a custom to. Orange flavored beef, excellent I wonder how they prepare it? The batter was really hard and crunchy not at all greasy. And singapore mai fun. I don't like it, but my friend does and she said they did a good job of it.
I want to go back again but need to know what I missed What are a few of their MUST HAVES? Especially need seafood, and vegetarian choices too.
