Hi there! This is my 1st post on this site. I am looking for help finding the right cookware pieces or set. I recently got rid of my Circulon anodized nonstick as it started burning off fumes that filled the house w smog and hard to breathe smoke. I usually cook low - med heat. So the scare of the PTFE was on but I had already started doing research before that. I wonder at what expense this has been to our health as we ingest who knows what?

- I will say the Symmetry is great stuff, you can accidentally boil it dry and somehow it comes clean. I know this poses a learning curve with SS though but I am ready to get my hands dirty. But not the pans...! Hence the search for replacement cookware as I desperately need something ... but it also needs to be the right something, for us.
- First off, I need helpful or accommodating cookware features if possible; I have MS and with that pain, fatigue, weakness, balance, coordination etc ... (Read - clumsiness!) So anything that will be well-balanced, the right feel to handles, helper handles, stay-cool handles, maybe easy pouring like spouts or measuring marks or flared rims, possibly not having to deal with rivets as much or being easier to clean. Those types of handy features would be much appreciated but I know I have a small budget and a lot of wishes!
- It is only the 2 of us and I am using an electric coil stove which came w the apartment. Someday when/if we get a house, I'd love a gas stove or I would love to try induction. For now, I would like cookware that will have a lifetime warranty if possible as I have already gone through many sets and pieces but my budget is only about $350. But, it has to be Bed Bath and Beyond as I have gift cards from wedding, still.
- I tend to make one-pot meals, casseroles, stir-fry's, and we eat salad more often than not.
- I cook chicken breast in the oven on a jelly roll. I cannot convince Hubby to eat fish, and I hate cooking for only me. The only interest is from the cat, with whom I won't share! (She doesn't appreciate my spices for some reason! :P
- I have a rice cooker and a Crock pot so that takes care of any rice, soups or stews. I make pasta so seldom that I am not entirely sure I'd even need a stock pot as I never used the one from the set.

What I will use:
- 8" skillet, maybe also 12"; 1 qt and possibly 1-1/2 - 2 qt saucepan/saucier
- A large pan or 2 different - wok/stir fry and either an everyday/chef's pan or a deep pan/saute/brazier but a casserole/dutch oven may work. Just wondering which pieces could double instead of purchasing extras?
