So, What Did Everybody Have??

Here's what we had:
Maple-glazed Turkey with Bourbon-Pecan Gravy
Cranberry Cassis Conserve
Garlic, Sage and Sausage Stuffing
Sun-dried Tomato and Basil Stuffing
Mashed Honeyed Potatoes
Roasted Root Vegetables in Rosemary-Garlic Oil
Tori Spelling's Green Bean Bundles (A magazine
lift, he explained sheepishly)
Cranberry Cognac Trifle
( and 6 other desserts family members brought, including Key Lime Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Chocolate Silk Pie, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Doughnuts, Cookies)
P.S. Since my family are extremely finicky eaters, I did something this year I've never done before and found the results encouraging. Early in November, I offered the diners-to-be various choices of menu in every category, asking them to vote for their two top favorites in case I needed a tie-breaker). Majority ruled. This way, everybody had a rough idea of the menu and, though it took away an element of surprise, I'd be spared the look of horror on their faces, like when I served them Goat Cheese Timbales. ( A true story!)
