I went to a restaurant in my neighborhood (Murray Hill) that I go to about once every two or three weeks. So, I am somewhat of a regular. At the next table were two out of towners, who, by hearing parts for their conversation, were here for business, and their first time at this restaurant. When they requested their check, the manager offered them each a complimentary after dinner drink. (which they both refused). I requested a check at the same time, but the manager never offered me an after dinner drink. Yet the manager has seen me at his restaurant many times in the past.
I thought this was somewhat of a slight to a regular patron. The food and service at the restaurant is so so, but convenient. Question is: should I go back?.
