Went back to 15 east last night. Chef Shimizu was amazing. The tako still has no rivals. The sashimi, in particular the firefly squid with yuzu/yolk sauce were worth celebrating. How Jewel Bako lost it crown jewel is a mystery. For dessert, a bowl of cold soba uni which transported me back to Honmura An (RIP) and I was told the soba chef at 15 east used to work there. Joy.
