Thanks for the recommendation for this joint, kids.

Beef roll: pretty good. An excellently charming experience, though the beef tasted a little one-dimensionally sweet to me. Super late night snack food, though.

dumplings with ground pork, pumpking, and shrimp: among my favorite dumplings ever, I have thought about them every day in the week since I've had them. I was talking with my friend Lennon who was also there. "Have you been thinking about these every day?"

"Every hour."

"So I'm not crazy."

"Nope. How is pumpkin and shrimp not, like, peanut butter and jelly? Why doesn't everybody know about this?"

Girlfriend Sarah on these dumplings: "Mmmmm, mmmmph... oh god, mmmm, mmmph.... mrmrmrmrm... oh god my stomach hurts... I have to stop eating... mmmmmrmmmm." I think she at several times experienced intense pain during the meal as her chopsticks hovered between the beef roll and the dumplings, unable to choose.

Surprise favorite: marinated cold three items, which comes out as pressed tofu and seaweed and little chewy pork offal nibbles. One of my favorite cold dishes in town. Zippy.
