Look what I got!

Shrinkrap | Jan 2, 201505:32 PM     43

Husband's friend brought me a gift. As I saw my husband taking out the box he could tell I was getting excited, and said "calm down; it's just a token". So I did. Last year it was moon cakes.

But it was a knife!

From a google search I think it's a "Takayuki Damascus Hammered Santoku "!

But what is especially cool, is it seems to have a hammered inscription. Can anyone help?

Also, in my "I'm left handed, so I am special" threads, folks usually say only with certain Japanese knifes. I think this one is 50/50...but it could be 70/30. How can I tell?
