I bought an ounce of American sturgeon for $38. I have been thinking ever since how to use it most effectively.
Last year, I was at a party where sturgeon caviar was spoon over a kamomato (SP?) oyster. Delicious, however each component would have been delectible by itself.
Years ago, I read where Jackie Kennedy Onassis would eat her sturgeon caviar on a baked potato with sour cream.
There is the idea of making mini blinis with dollops of sour cream topped with caviar.
Years ago I was gifted with a kilo can of caviar, which I had no problem consuming. Another life, another time.
Today, I want each wee egg to count ... an ideas?
