1 lb of Parmesan Reggiano-what to do?

any suggestions for the above--simple main (meat or non meat) or side dish? as a pasta dressing? I also have lots of mushrooms and peppers on hand. Also canned tomatoes, garlic and onions. I have recipes for snacks and crisps but would like to make dinner with these tomorrow (planned to use as a topping on another dish but forgot to bring along when visiting family). Thank you very much.

PS I am the one who thought she went overboard on the garlic in the chicken cacciatore. Turned out fine--everyone thought the garlic amount was yummy and not strong at all. Go figure.
