Best/Worst Airport Food

rudeboy | Jun 2, 2004 02:16 PM

As I was caught for an extended delay in the San Diego airport, I couldn't help but notice that (in my terminal) there were only pretzels and personal pan pizzas, both of which were very expensive. This is starkly different than my own airport (Austin Bergstrom - Austin, TX). I wish that I could have a layover in Austin, but I live here. All outlets are copies of locally owned restuarants in Austin and are the same price as in the real restaurants in town.

Any other good airport grub out there? I travel a lot, so it would be nice to know where I can anticipate decent food. I remember Seattle being better than the norm. San Jose is also overpriced, with a skimpy selection.
