Why go fiddling around with a good thing? Egg salad, the classic way, is just plain good. OK, OK, fine. We fiddled a little. But dill pickle relish isn't all that innovative. It's a pretty traditional way to inject some tang and more texture to this basic sandwich filling made with hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and celery. Spoon some on your slice of bread, top it off with another slice, and shoot for the mouth. Chew. Swallow. Smile in your smug simple satisfaction. Repeat.
