Thanksgiving Pie and Tart Recipes

Galettes are imperfectly shaped rustic fruit tarts, baked without a tart or pie pan, formed by folding the pastry onto itself. They’re good for Thanksgiving, since they eliminat having to fit the rolled pastry into a pie shell.
