Joe’s Special
Joe's Special, a scrambled egg dish with lots of spinach, ground beef, onions, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, was invented in the 1920s at a now-defunct Italian-American diner called New Joe's. After the original location burned down, San Francisco mayor Ed Lee officially proclaimed the dish famous.
