Old Ebbitt Grill
As D.C.’s oldest bar, Old Ebbitt Grill can boast a long list of political patrons, including Presidents William McKinley, Ulysses S. Grant, Andrew Johnson, Grover Cleveland, and even Theodore Roosevelt. While it has switched locations twice since its inception in 1856, Old Ebbitt Grill hasn’t lost its sense of tradition and class. Be sure to try their famous oysters or best-selling crab and artichoke dip.
