The Doner Kebab
Spitz, a Turkish-inspired bar and restaurant, introduced Angelenos to the doner kebab. A doner kebob is a bit like the traditional lamb gyro wrap, but the meats vary, and the dressing is a mayonnaise aioli instead of a yogurt tzatziki. But since Spitz opened a few years ago, other doner kebab operations have popped up to meet demand.
