Christmas Cocktails

Celebrate the holidays with buzzy beverages —some warm, some bubbly, and all great for a holiday party or curling up by the fireplace. First up: A spiked drink for a crowd with ruby-red cranberries bobbing about. What could be more Christmassy? Don't worry about the name of this punch though; there's no poinsettia (which can cause rashes, stomach issues, eye redness, and other allergic reactions, according to the Mayo Clinic) in there at all. Our drink is simply named after the red color of that holiday-time plant. You'll find a recipe for a basic sparkling punch with cranberry juice and Cointreau. Serve it chilled, but without ice in it. Do that by placing a bowl of ice underneath the punch bowl, or something to that effect.
