The best story about Shake Shack, the New York institution that’s currently turning itself into a nationwide chain, is the tale of its fries. The restaurant started with bagged crinkle cut fries, but switched to house-cut fries when they made some money. And no one liked them. So Shake Shack had to give, and switch back to crinkles, much to the delight of everyone.
