The homemade baked flour tortilla bowls make this a fun taco salad. If you don't happen to have wavy, oven-safe tortilla baking bowls, you can bake the tortilla bowls three ways: oven-safe bowls, balled-up aluminum foil, or 6-inch cake pans. You spray 10-inch flour tortillas with vegetable cooking spray and drape them within or over the aparatus, in the oven at 425 degrees F, for 10 to 15 minutes, or whenever crispy. Then comes all the fillings, such as ground beef with tomato sauce, onion, and spices. The salad has Romaine lettuce hearts, black beans, cherry tomatoes, and more.
