Executive Pastry Chef Roland Mesnier during President Bill Clinton’s administration shows his pulled-sugar work collection to Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. Clinton was reportedly allergic to chocolate, butter, and milk, making Mesnier’s job as pastry chef challenging, especially since President Clinton reportedly had a sweet tooth. Mesnier often satisfied that sweet tooth with fresh fruit desserts. Mesnier served 25 years as pastry chef at the White House.
