Craving intestines? Here’s where to get your fix in the Bay Area:

Ruth Lafler recommends the tripas tacos at the El Novillo taco truck, and the fire-bursted intestines at China Village.
Zach Georgopoulos says that Kokkari serves kokoretsi every couple of months. It’s “made of lamb intestines and other offal, skewered and roasted on the spit.”
yimster suggests the “deep-fried pork intestines served on pickled carrots, turnips, and cucumbers with a sweet and sour sauce” at Utopia Cafe.
Joel always goes for the pork intestine with pickled vegetable at China First, and says to look for it on the whiteboard, not the regular menu. The stewed beef intestine, at New Gold Medal in Oakland is also recommended.
