With Kitchen Confidential, Anthony Bourdain opened the compellingly disgusting can of worms that is the way real restaurants operate.

Now the online comic Achewood finishes the job with a strip about a class that teaches “real-world restaurant culture.”

A sample from the course proposal:

Students peel seven hundred pounds of potatoes to gangster rap about burning down zoos and hitting women with golf clubs. They are told not to come back.”

That sounds roughly accurate.
