With Burmese food increasingly scarce around town, the best and most authentic stuff can be found at community fairs, where talented home cooks show off their chops and share their culture. This Sunday they’ll lay out a spread at a Burmese food fair in Queens, DaveCook reports.

This HIV-AIDS fund-raiser runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at P.S. 12 in Woodside. The organizers promise “30 different kinds of Burmese food” and are charging just $5 for “all you can eat,” but Dave notes that “you should expect, and graciously contribute to, further solicitations inside.”
