Things are looking up for taco-lovers in taco-deficient Midtown. La Biblioteca, the tequila bar downstairs from Zengo, offers a lunch menu much like the one at sister restaurant Pampano Taqueria.

Chicken and carne asada tacos are very good, says jon (mahi mahi tacos are a notch below, topped with an overly creamy slaw). Three of them cost $10; cheese or guacamole is a buck extra. jon misses Pampano’s salsa bar and free chips (here they’re $1), but still considers La Biblioteca “a huge huge plus for the area.”
