You Still Can’t Dial 911 to Order Pizza

Mystic, Connecticut is already nationally known for its pizza, thanks to that one movie. Now it may be known for something else: a firetruck that’s been converted into a mobile pizza serving platform, complete with beer that’s pumped through the insulated lines that once brought water to the front of the truck.

Theday.com has the story (subscribers only) of truck owner Christopher Owens, and the discovery that led to his new business:

“When Christopher Owens saw the shiny red firetruck for sale in front of the Noank Fire House, the little kid in him took over. ‘Oh, man, I gotta buy that firetruck,’ he thought. But the adult in him quickly butted in: ‘What will you do with it? Where will you put it?’”

Answer: Sell pizza with it, and put it wherever pizza is desired. Genius.
