Pickles seem to be having quite the cultural moment. Between Pickle Sickles and Kool-Aid pickles, it seems like all the cool kids are going for that garlicky, pungent treat.

You know what else kids these days like? Viral advertising. And Claussen has come up with a dilly of a way to combine the two. The Pickle Snap Test is a video in which a dry demonstrator uses a series of fancy-looking machines to capture the snapping sounds of shelf-stable pickles compared to “Claussen Refrigerated Pickles.” Meanwhile, two slacker-style dudes provide amusing MST3K-style commentary. While they do get off some good lines, ultimately The Pickle Snap Test is no Will It Blend?

Maybe Claussen should consider the conductivity of pickles in its next viral video.
