Obviously the SF-based Lazzari Fuel Company and design team Mike and Maaike were ready to spark a little innovation in the world of grilling, by creating the
Baja BBQ Firepack. The packaging—100 percent recycled and biodegradable—contains two pounds of lump charcoal and was designed to work like a chimney starter. You just put the Firepack on the grill, light it, and you’ve got a nice fire going without the use of any chemicals or lighter fluid. While the Firepack is not widely available yet (we heard about it via Notcot), keep your eyes out for it at specialty grocery stores.
