The spots for Bloom markets are the funniest supermarket ads (via Notcot) I’ve ever seen—think The Office meets Supermarket Sweep. Bloom is based in North Carolina and is modeled after the European trend of smaller, hipper markets (Fresh & Easy is a similar West Coast chain that is owned by British Tesco). Who knows if these places will measure up for the industrial-size-mayo-jar-loving American, but the advertising makes me think they’re not interested in that demographic anyways.
