In Flatbush, the (Italian) Ice Age Returns

Chowhounds took it hard three years ago when NYC Icy, a tiny shop in the East Village, cranked out its last Italian ice. Now, just in time for warmer weather, its owners are back in business in Brooklyn. scarlet starlet reports delicious malted vanilla, Mexican hot chocolate, and café con leche ices. But past reports suggest the best bets might be dairy-free fruit-based flavors such as mango-basil and apricot-ginger.
