The menu at the newish Brats Brothers starts out predictably enough, with offerings from Germany (veal, pork, onions, parsley) and Bavaria (smoked pork, beer). Then it veers over to France (chicken, apple, cinnamon), the Wild West (buffalo, burgundy), and Australia (ostrich, pistachios). Alligator is on the way, the owner says. Will that be a Sunshine State special?
The Hungarian brat, served on a French roll, is spicy and delicious, says mar52. A meal comes with two sides; fresh red cabbage salad, Grandma’s sauerkraut, and roasted potatoes stand out. Condiments include curry ketchup and house-made grainy mustard.
Brats run $5.50 to $6.50; add $3 to make it a meal.
