Among the Taiwanese-and-beyond street eats from A-Pou’s Taste street cart is a Korean-style standout, kathryn reports. Beef-and-kimchee pot stickers from this new downtown cart are meaty and spicy, “a step up from what I’d expected.” But they’re fried in advance, she adds, so they’re short on crispness and a tad tough.
These dumplings also come stuffed with pork (not bad) or chicken (just OK), kathryn writes. Still, at $3.50 for five, they’re a welcome budget bite. Soups (hot and sour, corn chowder) and tea drinks round out the short menu.
