Russian Family Bistro, the restaurant attached to the Russian Family Bakery & Deli, lives up to its promise of homestyle cooking, says SteveTimko. Goulash is full of fall-apart tender veal, served in a bell pepper. It comes with a couple of tasty sides: fried cabbage drizzled with sour cream, and spätzle.
The house pierogies are baked rather than boiled like Mom’s, says Steve, but they’re still pretty nice, especially the meat-filled ones. And there’s plenty more to explore on the menu.
