Visitors to New York’s Corona Plaza have an opportunity to get something a little different out of those ubiquitous newspaper boxes that line the streets: a one-shot publication that’s both a genuine piece of art and a record of a community’s food life.

This Is What I Eat is artist Stephanie Diamond’s newspaper/cookbook. In it, Corona Plaza neighborhood residents share their recipes, pictures, and stories abut what they eat. It’s part of a group of four site-specific projects sponsored by the Queens Museum of Art celebrating the Corona Plaza neighborhood.

Gothamist perused the piece and found out the diverse neighborhood loves everything from pizza and apples to red beans and rice.
