In addition to making bewilderingly expensive shoes, the Ferragamo family owns an 800-year-old estate in southeastern Sicily. This is not surprising given all the money they have from the footwear business, but what is surprising is that they also make organic cookies, using lemons right off of their land. The cookies are thin, crisp, crumbly, and only lightly sweet, with a strong lemon flavor. Other flavors are available, but we like the lemon best.
