The ever-reliable BBC reports that a beefy 47-tonne pile of illegally dumped animal carcasses is making a major Romanian road even less pleasant to travel than usual.

The plastic bags covering the meat are falling apart, and bits of chickens and even horses are poking through. Fortunately, the relatively cool weather (38 degrees) is preventing massive rotting and a disgusting stench. What’s that? 38 degrees Celsius, you say? Is that hot?
