As upper-end brunch deals go, Boulud Sud‘s stands out. On Chowhound, Spiritchaser describes a $32 prix fixe comprising three generous courses.

For starters, recent winning choices have included potato-leek soup (since replaced by wild mushroom with crème fraîche) and a salumi board that’s plenty for two people. A couple of smart orders among the second courses are a well-balanced, Mediterranean-accented lamb burger (pictured) with harissa, eggplant, and tzatziki, and an entrée-size portion of fava bean ravioli with sunflower seeds, mint, and onion broth. And a crave-worthy dessert is the seasonal mousse—tarragon with grapefruit gel earlier in spring, replaced for summer by a yogurt mousse with blueberry marmalade. “Will definitely be heading back,” Spiritchaser resolves.
