A year after popping up in a Brooklyn bar, the sandwich guys of Black Tree have opened their own place on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. From the often-changing, heavily local menu, Chowhounds single out a summer lamb sandwich with yogurt, mint, and feta. Also in season (call ahead to make sure it’s available): soft-shell crab on a brioche bun with ramp relish and aioli (pictured).
