Restaurateur David Reiss’s newest venture, Salt Air, on Abbot Kinney features a menu of seafood classics (think lobster roll and raw clams), as well as unique creations like fish skin chips with smoked onion dip and harissa, and pretzel-crusted fried oysters. But its arrival has stirred mixed feelings among Chowhounds. Does LA need another New England–style seafood shack?
