Nargis Café, a little-mentioned Uzbek grill in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, has been a delicious little secret shared mainly by Russian locals. But no longer. Spilling the beans in a Chowhound discussion, scanmike recommends its grilled meats and seafood (try the sea bass kebab) as well as an excellent avocado salad and home fries with onions and mushrooms. “It’s a hidden gem to the non-Russian community,” mike says. “Very sweet people with outstanding food.”
