At St. Vincent, the curry pickled egg, peanut boil, and duck confit are good—really good, Robert Lauriston says—but the wine selection is so exceptional it outshines everything. Robert liked a 1995 Kalin Chardonnay; you can buy a half portion of almost any bottle on the idiosyncratic list, a fact that encourages explorations into Jura and Valdeorras.
