Jacob Restaurant on Lenox Avenue lays out one terrific soul-food buffet, says Peter Cuce. He loves the oxtails, baked salmon, baked short ribs, collards, and mashed potatoes, and he’s heard good things about the fried chicken. “I bet most things there are top notch,” he adds. “It’s only $6.49/lb., so the barrier to entry is low.”
