The annual Webby Awards are the Oscars of the Internet, recognizing excellence in Web design, online advertising, and video, among other things. It’s a huge deal even to be nominated. Unlike the Oscars, though, Webby winners are picked both by members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and by you, the Web-using public. Awards the public decides are called the People’s Voice.
Naturally, we’re unbelievably proud to be a finalist for Online Film and Video: How-To and DIY, but not too proud to ask for your vote! If you love our ongoing video series CHOW Tips and You’re Doing It All Wrong, please visit the Webby ballot site and give us your vote.
Our amazingly talented video team has logged countless hours (and almost as many snack runs to the CHOW Test Kitchen) to show you how to do things: boil pasta in a frying pan, make brownies in your office coffee mug, assemble a crazy striped omelet, and even pour Guinness from a can. Show us you appreciate it! Help us win a Webby! Polls are open from now through April 26.
Click here to vote. And thank you for your support!
