Easy Gluten Free Snickerdoodle Cookies 


Last night I tried this super simple, but easy recipe for sugar cookies and then added cinnamon sugar to create the most amazing snickerdoodle cookies EVER.

  • 2 1/2 cups gluten free flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon


  • Preheat oven to 325° F
  • Whisk GF flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Mix white sugar, 3/4 cup butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract together in a bowl using an electric mixer; beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until mixture is smooth. Mix butter mixture into GF flour mixture and form dough into a ball, if time permits let chill in fridge for an hour.
  • Mix together the 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon (depending on how much cookies you want to make follow this ratio when making cinnamon sugar)
  • Create 1 inch cookie balls and roll into the cinnamon sugar mixture
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes or until edges are golden
